Reviews and Ratings
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, where the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The rooms were spacious with lovely original features, which gave a nice traditional vibe, although the cleanliness could have been better. I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, especially the Sunday lunch which was excellent value for money. However, the overall condition of some areas was a bit shabby and could use a revamp.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The beautiful grounds and historic charm stood out, along with the spacious, comfortable room. However, the service was a letdown, and I faced several maintenance issues during my stay. Overall, while the ambience is lovely and the breakfast options were decent, some aspects need serious improvements.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. While the quirky character and fantastic staff made it memorable, the rooms left much to be desired, especially dealing with the cleanliness issues. The food was great when it finally arrived, but the service could be frustrating at times. Overall, I enjoyed the unique vibe, but improvements are definitely needed.
I recently attended a wedding at Risley Hall, and the venue was simply stunning, with beautiful grounds and a seamless event managed by Micheal and Sara. However, my stay was marred by significant issues such as a lack of hot water and poorly maintained rooms. Overall, the wedding experience was excellent, but it seems the hotel has room for improvement in other areas to cater to overnight guests.
We found this hotel at an incredible price, but it had its ups and downs. The rooms were a mixed bag; the old Manor House had a charming rustic feel, while the suite in the newer block was more modern but needed a few touch-ups. The service was hit or miss, especially during breakfast, which was quite chaotic. Overall, for the price we paid, it was decent, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.
