Really good Hospitality and Character
warm greeting comfortable room excellent facilities
The owner kindly offered to cook anything I wanted. My room was huge, comfortable, and had wonderful views. The bathroom was also massive with excellent Edwardian facilities. There were plenty of towels and very good heating too.

the hotel sits in a peaceful place. i enjoyed a quiet walk in the garden, it was very great. friendly reception staff even gave me a small tour. i thought it was a good hotel.

the staff provided excellent service . they were always available and ready to help with any requests. the room was also very quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. i liked that the hotel offered safe off-road parking.
the bathroom extractor fan was not working, a bit inconvenient. the shower screen lacked a proper seal, so water easily splashed onto the bathroom floor.

A really GREAT stay!
personal greeting thoughtful owner comfortable room wonderful view
The owner greeted me personally and showed me to my room. It was late, around 10pm, but it wasn't a problem. This was VERY thoughtful. The room was huge and comfortable, and it had wonderful views. There was plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits available.
The bathroom extractor fan did NOT work.

The hotel has lovely grounds which are perfect for short walks. The setting of the hotel is peaceful. It is quiet and relaxing. The off-road parking area felt safe.

The room was fantastic and huge. The bathroom included excellent Edwardian facilities. More than enough towels were provided. The heating system worked very well. The room had large sash windows.

Charming Hotel with Excellent Service
nice staff lovely food decorated room
The staff are really nice. The food was lovely and i was very welcomed. The team looked after us so well for my special birthday treat. They had decorated our room, a very lovely surprise.
The decor is outdated, and it would be fine if it was still in good condition, but the wallpaper in our room was peeling. The wardrobe door did not shut properly. The mattress was also quite uncomfortable.

The hotel offers good food for dinner and breakfast. I found the dining ambiance to be lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful during meal service making the experience enjoyable and relaxing.

The hotel has lots of character. It is located very close to the motorway, ideal for a reasonably priced stopover on a long journey if you require a spacious, comfortable room, and there are excellent places to eat close by.
